Previously after International Cricket Council (ICC) had decided to move the Cricket World Cup matches to the India, Bangladesh and Srilanka, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had challenged the ICC in court. However, by recent talks both the parties have settled their dispute. After this settlement Pakistan Cricket Board will take its legal challenge back.
The matches were moved out of Pakistan to other co-hosts India, Bangladesh and Srilanka due to the bad security situations in the country. According to the recent settlement still Pakistan will not be hosting the world cup matches. However they will not return the World Cup Hosting fee. Moreover they will be paid more by International Cricket Council in compensation to money loss to PCB for not hosting the Cricket World Cup 2011 matches.
