Heavy increase in electricity unit prices have jolted the nation

Government on Monday announced new tariff of electricity. This was not just another price adjustment or something, it was so sharp increase that it have jolted the nation. Specially for people who are using units between 100 and 300 units per month, the increase was 210%. As their benefit of previous slab was withdrawn and new price set was above 12 rupees from just 5 rupees per unit. Similarly for people who are using electricity 300 to 450, the increase was 120%. Latest CNG load shedding schedule for Islamabad, Rawalpindi and rest of Potohar region

Recently according to a news report a different load shedding schedule for CNG filling Pumps in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Potohar region was announced but seems like they have just altered only one to two days for now. According to this current schedule, CNG Stations are closed for four days each week and only open for three days per week. So all CNG stations are opening for three days which are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. CNG Stations remain close for four days in each week which are Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Another Sudden Change in CNG Load Shedding Schedule in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Rest of Potohar Region

Previously CNG association of Pakistan had changed the CNG Load Shedding schedule in start of September but the have done it again recently. Recently a new schedule of load shedding was announced by Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and CNG association of Pakistan for Potohar region which includes the cities Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Wah, Jehlam, Chakwal and all areas around these cities. New CNG Loadshedding Schedule in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Rest of Potohar Region from September 2013

Recently the schedule of CNG Load shedding is changed in Potohar Region of Pakistan, this includes, cities of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Wah, Taxila, Attock, Jehlam, Chakwal, Murree and other adjoining areas around all these cities. Previously the CNG load shedding days were Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Now according to new schedule CNG is NOT being available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. However its again available on four days, Monday to Thursday. This move was made without properly notifying the people, so lots of us were confused about, on which days, CNG is available.
