MG Motors now have local production license in Pakistan

MG Motors have been in Pakistan for quite some time now. They had introduced many products in Pakistan which included, MG HS, MG ZS EV and MG HS PHEV etc. However, MG was importing and selling the completely built units (CBU) of these vehicles mentioned above, instead of importing the Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kits and manufacturing here in Pakistan. As currently team New Zealand is on tour of Pakistan for playing two test matches and three ODIs. First test match took place in Karachi at National stadium and it had very low attendance. Only a handful of people reached the stadium to watch the match in person. New Zealand is currently playing its second test match against Pakistan, which is part of two test match series when New Zealand is on tour of Pakistan. Match is being played at National Stadium Karachi, today was first day of second test match, which was earlier to be played at Multan but was shifted to Karachi due to weather concerns. Winter vacations extended in Punjab

Initially Punjab government had notified the winter vacations for just eight days from from Dec 24, 2022 to Dec 31, 2022 and students had to report back at schools and institutions on Jan 2, 2023. However, according to latest notification from Punjab government, the winter vacations have been extended. The winter vacations in Punjab have been extended until Jan 6, 2023, however Jan 7 & Jan 8 are the days of weekend. So the students, teachers and staff of schools, colleges and educational institutions have to report back on Jan 9, 2023. This gives one more week to students to enjoy the winter vacations.
