A Supreme court bench served the Contempt of Court notices to the former Judges who had taken oath under the PCO. This was done on the Friday Oct 09 morning. The bench was being headed by the Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Choudhary himself.
The contempt of Court notices were serve to former Chief Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar(Retd), Justice Muhammad Nawaz Abbasi, Justice M. Javaid, Justice Faqeer Khokhar, Justice Musa Laghari, Justice Ejaz Yousuf, Justice Zawar Hussian Jaffri and Justice Saeed Ashad.
Afterwords, the court was adjourned and the next hearing will be on Monday, Oct 12,09
