Imran Khan arrested from outside of the IHC

Imran Khan, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief, was present outside the Islamabad High Court (IHC) for couple of hearings, which had to be took place in the afternoon. He was arrested from outside the IHC and according to several PTI leaders, he was torchered when the arrest took place. He was hit in the head as well as the leg. Imran Khan terms the current caretaker setup in Punjab as illegitimate

Imran Khan while talking to Maria Memon, an Ary News anchor, in an interview, said that after three months, the caretaker setup becomes illegitimate. He also said that the current caretaker setup in Punjab, which is headed by mohsin Naqvi, is biased. They have already attacked his house and more. PTI to challenge ECP in Supreme Court for Punjab Elections delay

Recently,, Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) have announced delay in Punjab elections. The election were originally scheduled to take place on 30th April, 2023. However, ECP suddenly decided to move elections to October 8, 2023. According to the Pakistan’s Constitution, ECP must in any case, ensure the elections within ninety days of an assembly dissolution. However, after giving the date of April 30, 2023 itself, the ECP took a U-turn and now given a new date for elections of Punjab province. Two days physical remand of Fawad Chaudhry approved

Recently, Fawad Chaudhry, a Pakistani politician belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, was arrested by the current PDM led government. He was arrested in Lahore, his brother told media that on time of arrest no warrants were shown. Today Imran Khan revealed his plan to dissolve the Punjab and KPK assemblies, in a televised address along with chief ministers of Punjab and KPK. He told the nation that after his discussion with both the chief ministers, Ch.
