Misery and agony hits back, Peshawar press club under attack

After just two days of silence the militants again hit back on Peshawar Press club. It was a suicide blast targeting the media personals of Pakistan. About three people lost their lives in the attack and several other were injured. Immediately the smoke encircled the building and the glasses of building as well the nearby vehicles etc were damaged badly in the incident. Military Operation Orakzai follows now after South Waziristan

If this operation is pursued it will be third one to take out the terrorists hiding in those areas. Prime Minister gillani said that they will negotiate with locals on this for peace but in case talks can’t do required stuff, government was always ready for this. Intelligence officials told media that Military forces have already been carrying out the crackdowns in Orakzai Agency to take out militants. Government closes CNG in Lahore zone first, 585 CNG stations effected

On Friday administration closed down the CNG stations in Lahore zone, which comprises of wider adjacent areas, for two Days, Saturday and Sunday. This effected 585 CNG stations and millions of vehicles. Despite the good amount of local Natural gas resources government is doing this to import the costly Liquid Natural Gas (LNG). However, Pakistan CNG Association chairman said that CNG stations will only be remained closed on Saturday this time. Government have decided to shutdown CNG for eight days each month. Lahore region was first to watch this effect, Islamabad and other region will be the next suffering victims.

Terror Suspects from US captured in Surgodha, investigations continue

These all five men are US Nationals caught in Surgodha, are suspected to indulge in terror activities in Pakistan. They arrived in Pakistan few days back and are being linked to possible terror attempt by them. Some maps of locations around South Waziristan were also secured from them. Police had arrested them after getting an intelligence report about them, a joint investigation team has been formed which will investigate about their meetings with people inside Pakistan and will come up with final report about them. Pakistan and US governments are already in contact with each other about this matter and US President promised an investigation about how and why they left US for Pakistan few days back.

President’s Secretariat and Several govt departments on IESCO’s Defaulters list

Islamabad Electric Supply Company(IESCO) have issued a list of defaulters who have outstanding dues to be Payed to IESCO. These defaulters include Government ministries and several other government and semi-government departments. The remaining dues on part of these departments are individually tens to millions and together they make hundreds of millions. These defaulters include but are not limited to President’s Secretariat, Senate, Pakistan secretariat, Federal board of Revenue (FBR), many ministries, govt of Azad Kashmir, Pakistan govt departments, two Cantt boards in Rawalpindi, several municipal towns, Capital Development Authority, Federal Capital police, FIA and lots of other government departments.
