Pakistan Wins ICC champions trophy match against West Indies

West Indies won the toss and elected to bat first. But this decision didn’t proved to be lucky for them and soon their all team was out by just scoring 133 runs. Mufti Muneeb tells leader of ANP to stay away and keep quite

Previously the leader of Awami National Party (ANP) Ghulam Ahmed Bilur demanded that the current Ruhat-e-Hilal committee must be dissolved and the chairman Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman must be replaced with the Mufti Shahabuddin Popalzai of Masjid Qasim Ali Khan. Bilur also called Muneeb as the product of the Musharraf age. Leader of ANP had issues with the moon sighting by Ruhat-e-Hilal Committee for Ramadan and Eid. Responding to this Mufti Muneeb told ANP leader to stay away and mind your own business. He added that he had opposed all the un-Islamic actions of Musharraf. Also told that the 95% of Pakistanis followed the Ramdan and Eid according to his decision of moon sighting, so 170 million Pakistanis can’t be wrong.

Pakistan Security forces wipe out 34 more militants

In South Waziristan Pakistan security forces eliminated 34 more militants in the clashes. Pakistan security forces were backed by the gunship helicopters and about 26 of the militants were eliminated by gunship helicopters and several others were injured. However, Tehrik-e-Taliban have claimed that they have killed about 45 security personals in these recent clashed. But this claim of Tehrik-e-Taliban was not confirmed by any of Government or military sources.

Closing CNG for three months, are you kidding

Earlier, this has been proposed by the Federal Government of Pakistan to close the CNG stations for three months. A final decision on this is yet to come but the proposed period starts from 1st Nov, 2009. What ever happens in this regard but I am sorry to say that Federal Government will have to rethink on their strategies. As we all know that closing down CNG will increase the goods transportation costs to at least five times of what they are currently. So this will definitely speed up the inflation. Militant’s confession, received support from India and Afghanistan

In recent operations Pakistan army arrested the Taliban commanders of Tehrik-e-Taliban, few of them confessed that they have received the military training and the aid to fight against Pakistan Army from India and Pakistan. They told they were trained by the Indian secret departments including RAW, they also added that the weapons and the finances to keep up the fight against Pakistan Army were coming from the Afghanistan. This all stated in a Joint Investigation Team’s report, which was submitted to higher officials of Pakistan on Saturday.
