Foreign investment is back in Karachi Stock Exchange

As soon as government ensured the improvements in the energy sector, this have increased the confidence of foreign investors and Karachi stock exchange have observed good investment by foreigners. In last month, Aug 2009 the money foreign buyers bought shares of about $95.3 million and this month on alone 1st Sep, 2009 the investment of 21.29 million was observed from the foreign investors. More over KSE-100 index was ended on its highest of the year at 8,878.64 today. PCB denies attending the World Cup organizing committee meeting

Pakistan cricket board have denied to take part in any organizing committee meeting for Cricket World Cup 2o11. One of such meetings is scheduled for tomorrow in Mumbai, India. Pakistan Cricket Board was invited to that meeting earlier and PCB agreed to take part in this. But they have now declined to take part in this and any such meetings. Also PCB added that as Pakistan is no more hosting the cricket world cup 2011 so they must not be invited to any kind of Organizing Committee meetings, in fact remove them from the organizing committee. Pakistani dies in a reality show organised by unilever

Just wondering how easy it is to play with the lives of other people in this country. Unilever Pakistan was recording a reality TV show for promotion of their product “Clear Shampoo” few days ago in Thailand. Contestants were given the task of swimming, during that Saad Khan who was 32 years old drowned and called for help. The other contestant and the rescue staff tried to help him but he drowned in unclear water to depth that despite six minutes of search he was not found and died in the incident. Being the national capital Islamabad must have the national flag not the flags of Ruling party but as depicted in picture taken on 31 Aug, 09 in the capital still the Pakistan People Party’s  flags are everywhere. Suicide attack kills 15 policemen Peshawar, Pakistan

Suicide attack in Khyber agency, Peshawar killed 15 policemen and left several injured. The incident took place when policemen gathered to break their fast in the evening. The incident took place in the residential barrack of local policemen. A man blew himself causing the police real damage, local security officials have confirmed the attack. Also told that about 15 people, most of them policemen were died in the attack. This was again an evil effort by militants who seem to lose the control of most of the areas in recent past.
