Darkness follows the nation, administration unable to fulfill promises

31st Dec 2009 was the third deadline given by ruling party in order to finish off the electricity load shedding from the nation once and for all. But few statements from the officials and on going load shedding in winter seasons when the electricity usage is very less in compared to the summer made it clear that current ruling party would unfortunately will not be able to do it. One thing this country kept seeing right from beginning to date is unfulfilled promises. Current ruling party who claim to have vision to change things and put the country on the way of economic growth have been in government many times but unfortunately they have not been able to tackle with […]

No CNG for two days each week for Punjab and NWFP

What else can you expect from a Government which is highly not capable of managing things. Now after having all sufferings from the electricity load shedding Pakistanis had finally to see this day when they will be facing so called “Gas Load Management Plan”. According to this plan initially the people of Punjab and NWFP will remain without CNG for two days each week. This will not happen for days or week or a month, the plan is to repeat it the whole winter, initially it would be from 15th Nov, 2009 to 15th Mar, 2010. This is the time when the people of Pakistan were expecting that government will fulfill its promise of ending the electricity load shedding they […]

The dark age continues, Govt still says, lights ahead

In 2008 first time the ruling party had claimed that the load shedding will be taken away from the people of Pakistan once and for all on 31st Dec, 2008.  But they didn’t make it, in fact they were not able to bring any improvement. The things were better before, as compared to their rule. Soon after the ruling party changed their statements, probably they would have checked and planned on back-end, they came up saying the issue of power shortage will be resolved till the June 2009 and the people would have to bare with them. This time this seem to bit realistic and people thought, ok believe them. But again, as history repeats itself, ruling party was unable […]

Closing CNG for three months, are you kidding

Earlier, this has been proposed by the Federal Government of Pakistan to close the CNG stations for three months. A final decision on this is yet to come but the proposed period starts from 1st Nov, 2009. What ever happens in this regard but I am sorry to say that Federal Government will have to rethink on their strategies. As we all know that closing down CNG will increase the goods transportation costs to at least five times of what they are currently. So this will definitely speed up the inflation. Currently as government must think of slowing down the on going inflation, they are busy in ideas which will definitely increase it. Moreover we were hearing the news of […]

Taking an action on self made sugar shortage and high price of sugar Lahore High Court (LHC) had set the selling price of sugar for millers at Rs. 40 but no one of mills had actually acted up.
