For this week Sindh province have announced two holidays. First of them is April 1, 2024. For Muslims it will be off due to a an occasion called Youm-e-Ali. All the schools, colleges and educational institutions will remain closed for this reason.
For Christian community, April 1 will also be off due to the Easter, a religious festival or event of Christians. Easter marks the resurrection of Jesus three days after his death by crucifixion according to christian beliefs.
Sindh province will also have a public holiday on April 4, 2024. This holiday is given to commemorate the death anniversary of a former Pakistani Prime Minister and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. All the public and private offices, banks and educational institutions will remain closed. Only the essential services will keep operational.
Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto remained the Prime Minister of Pakistan from year 1973 to 1977. He have some significant contributions which include the bringing the Constitution of Pakistan in current shape. Significant work in making Pakistan a nuclear armed nation as well as contribution to strention the ties between Pakistan and China and building an long term everlasting relationship.
